Buyer Beware!!!!! We ordered a live edge river table from Jill. We paid 1/2 up front with a total cost of $3800. We expected a professional level table with an intricate and interesting river pattern that would be expected in a table of this cost. Pictures of these professional level tables are available on the internet. When the table was complete, we paid for the table in-full before we had a chance to examine it carefully. That was one of our many mistakes that day. However, we expected a beautiful table because Jill called us many times and said it was a beautiful table. Secondly, it was raining outside so we had to load it quickly. And thirdly, her and her assistant kept talking the table up and this was a major distraction. I just thought at that time that if we were not satisfied, we could get the table fixed or get a refund. However, when we finally had a chance to closely examine the table, it was the most amateur level table I have ever seen. The two planks that make up the table top were extremely uneven. The river was cloudy. There was a bug embedded in the resin. There were scratch marks in the resin. The legs were spray painted and there were paint overruns on every leg surface. Well, it turns out all of her tables are built outside. She does not have a professional level shop with a large planer. It was laughable until I realized we were stuck in Jill's world. I requested a refund because it was apparent she could not produce a professional level table. We returned the table and she accepted it. Then she said "NO REFUNDS! This is art and it not expected to be perfect." Apparently we had the wrong expectation. We wanted a functional dining room table that is artfully created, not an amateur piece of art. Then she hung a sign inside her showroom that states big and bold "No Refunds". After many months of negotiating, she still refused to refund our money. Fortunately we were able to get 1/2 of the total back through our credit card but she kept the remaining $1900.00.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!! This business is a rip off. The owner makes a living out of promising custom products. The owner then collects a hefty down payment or deposit on the custom work. If… And this apparently happens quite often the work is substandard. When the customer complains the owner then shows them a sign that says she is not obligated to give you your money back. This is a total misrepresentation of the Florida law, and she knows it. She preys on people who are mainly elderly from the villages who will simply walk away from their down payment investment… BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Jill is absolutely amazing! Her visionary skills are incredible and the way she make something ordinary come to life whether it is a live edge table, a custom piece, a coaster or one of her amazing tables with all the different colors and paints. Words cannot describe the type of work they do and the beauty that it transforms into! We have several pieces of hers and they are all truly amazing!
