We used Ruby with U-Niq Kreationz Design & Printing to do the programs and Tribute DVD for our Dad's memorial service in August 2017. The programs were beautiful from beginning to end. Quality of paper, design, creativity and artistry were excellent. However, the Tribute DVD we requested was less than desirable, in fact it was horrible. The pictures were so small and fuzzy that they could not be viewed on screen. The music we selected and requested be added to the DVD was nonexistent...it just wasn't there. This was an important, yet disappointing part of the service and our memories that failed to be delivered as promised.
In addition to the failed DVD was a complete lack of communication, professionalism and consideration. Their preferred method of communication is text or email and I get that. However, there are times when the intended message may not be received with the same interpretation, therefore requiring a verbal discussion. It was difficult to have any kind of verbal conversation and electronic communication, if received, was unclear and often went unanswered. We had questions and were left with very unclear answers creating anxiety and stress at an already stressful and trying time. The goal of procuring a service such as U-niq Kreationz is to take the stress off of the family and allow someone with experience and expertise to deliver this for you. The website implies that they understand this and pride themselves on being considerate and understanding. Perhaps they do but this was not the service that we received.
Upon meeting with Ms. Ruby we felt confident, even after she arrived considerably late, that after reviewing her designs and talking with her she was a good choice. She was friendly and passionate about creating a work that she could call her own and not just another job. We later discovered that although she may enjoy what she does and does it well, her lack of communication and professionalism had us questioning the decision and whether any amount of money was worth the frustration and anxiety we experienced during the almost 10 days of working with her. Even up to the day of the service we didn't know whether or not we would have programs and were never able to view the DVD. While I say again that the program was really nice and of good quality, the Tribute DVD and stress of communicating coupled with a lack of professional courtesy were far more impactful and memorable than the final outcome.
In closing, might I suggest that before you hire them to create your memorable products and lasting memories, you review the FAQs on the website and address the expectations up front.
